Sources: Bayern Munich firm over Jamal Musiala amid Premier League interest

Bayern Munich are not worried by interest being shown in their prized asset Jamal Musiala and sources have confirmed their stance to HITC.

The 21-year-old is seen as key figure by the Bavarian giants and HITC is told that they want to build around the attacking midfielder going forward.

His current contract runs to 2026 – but we are told Bayern are already talking to him about a new deal that would put him on par with the club’s top earners.

Bayern have been linked to Florian Wirtz, as HITC has confirmed, but we are told by sources that Munich see a Musiala-Wirtz tandem as their dream combination going forward.

Musiala. though, who spent time in England as a youngster and was with Southampton and Chelsea before joining Bayern’s youth system in 2019 – is attracting interest from the Premier League.

Should he become available, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have all made it known they would be keen on him.

Bayern have ‘zero interest’ in selling Jamal Musiala

However, sources with knowledge of the situation have told HITC there is ‘zero interest’ from Bayern in allowing Musiala to leave and they firmly believe he is committed to them.

In March, the club’s senior sporting board member Max Eberl, emphasised their position.

“Musiala not for sale? Absolutely not! It is expected that in the future he will become the face of Bayern. Jamal is a player who brings immense joy to the fans. He embodies Bayern very well. We intend to make him the new face of the club,” he said in a statement released to Sky Deutschland.

Sources have told HITC that they are confident that a new deal with Musiala will be finalised before the start of next season.

Musiala, along with Wirtz, is set to spearhead Germany’s bid for European Championship glory on home soil this summer.
